Given the widespread Greek city involvement and the hostilities that were postponed throughout the festivities, the significance of these games was generally acknowledged. In all of Greece at any Greece Tour, the Olympiad was admitted as the only event that could be considered chronological and served as a general representation of the four-year gap between two events. A site to worship Zeus, the most prominent of the gods, Olympia was also the most significant temple in Ancient Greece. One of the seven wonders of the ancient world was the enormous sculpture Phidias created out of gold and ivory. You will continue your journey via the Rio-Antirion suspension bridge, a contemporary engineering marvel, till you arrive at your destination after seeing the Museum of Olympia. Only six are in use at the moment, five for the male monastic community and one for the female. Day 7: One-Day Cruise to Three Islands with Lunch on Board

Kick off the 7th day of your Greece Travel Package with a tasty breakfast, then our coordinator will pick you up in the early morning on a comfortable luxury bus and transport you to the port. To begin with, you'll cruise for around two hours to the island of Poros. You will learn facts about the islands from the tour guide throughout the brief journey. You will have one hour of free time when you get to Poros, the smallest of the three islands, to explore this lovely place. We advise going to Trinzia, the Russian shipyard, where you may discover more about the alliance that existed between the Russian and Greek troops in the 18th and 19th centuries. Another place you might like exploring is Lemonodassos, a lush forest of lemon and orange trees framed by windmills and waterfalls. You will partake in lunch while admiring the magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea for about an hour before returning to the cruise ship and sailing to Hydra. You will arrive at the port of Hydra, whose horseshoe harbor formerly provided refuge to pirates cruising the Saronic Gulf. In the past, Hydra, which is close to the island of Spetses, was renowned for its vibrant tiny capital with gorgeous narrow lanes, endearing palaces, and historic stone homes that have silently endured a long and stormy history. The best boutiques and coffee cafes will be recommended by the tour guide, after which you will have around two hours to explore the area on your own. The lunch table will be set up again aboard the ship for the second shift. As you cruise toward your last destination of your Greece Tour, the larger island of Aegina, after lunch, you may unwind on the deck and take in the pleasant air. There, you'll be free to explore the town at your own leisure. You may sample ouzo with some seafood at one of the well-known ouzo bars located near the island's bustling harbor.
